Every paper (full, short or poster) must be registered prior to publication in the proceedings and must be presented at the conference. The authors registration deadline for the conference is October 29, 2007.

Payment can be done by bank transfer, Paypal (if you want to pay using a credit card such as VISA or American Express) or cheque. Please note that there is an additional processing fee for cheques, therefore we advise to avoid this method of payment whenever possible.

Apply for a visa
If you are from a European Country included in the Schengen Visa you only need your national identity card or your passport. The 15 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. There are some other countries that don’t require a visa if the person will stay less than 3 months. Please contact a Portuguese embassy in your country to know if you need a visa.
It's recommended that this process be started as soon as possible. We can provide the invitation letter so long as you have already registered, paid and submitted the final version of your paper. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you receive a visa.

Important Notes

1. Students without a paper are entitled to a 50% discount over the regular registration fees. Students must confirm their status by presenting a student card and a signed declaration from the supervisor professor.

2. If your payment is made by cheque, there's an extra fee of 30€ for bank handling costs.

3. If more than one speaker registers for the same paper please inform the conference Secretariat by e-mail before making any registration.

4. Discounts over the registration fee are not cumulative.

5. Cancellation Policy for the Conference: If we receive your written cancellation before November 23, 2007, the registration fees will be refunded deducted by an administrative fee of 100 EUR. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after November 23, 2007.

* INSTICC members are entitled to discounts in all INSTICC conferences. Delegates who are not currently members of INSTICC will be offered the possibility of joining this Association during the registration process and get a complimentary membership for the year 2008.
